As a Cape Town based commercial photographer, I have worked as a photo-journalist for most of my photographic career. With the competence and experience of working in a broad range of photographic genres, my work has been published nationally in numerous magazines, newspapers and online publications and websites.
A strong interest in land and identity within South Africa's diverse social landscape, draws my attention to the practice of social documentary photography. This resulted in the publication of 'Orania' in 2014 - a photographic book of portraits taken in this controversial Afrikaner community in the Northern Cape.
In 2018 I earned a MFA degree at Michaelis School of Fine Art (UCT) with another project on land and identity issues in the Philippi Horticultural Area in the Cape Peninsula.
